Aurelia Marie

Aurelia invited some of her favorite friends to the party – her doggie,big penguin,and Mommy. These two friends were also the only ones tall enough to reach the table… She set the places carefully,using her porcelain dishes that she received as a hand-me-down. She asks Mommy for some “cakes” which is usually some small bits of candy like Kisses. I think we had Skittles this time.Friends eagerly await the tea presentation! Pouring tea for her important guests. Checking that everyone has their fill. 

Our sweet girl! (Nevermind whatever food that is on her face.) She is getting to be grown up. Other favorite pretend games right now are dressing her little Cinderella dolls in the appropriate dresses to re-tell the story over and over again,and swaddling her dollies for bedtime. 

Yesterday,we had a little friend,Jackson,over to bake some cookies along with his Mom,Kate. We made three different types of cookies,including sugar cookies so that the kiddos could roll them out and cut shapes. They had a blast. Then some more friends dropped by with some gifts and decided to stay and bake and play as well. So,it ended up being a noisy and fun afternoon!

Here is one extra picture. A couple of weeks ago,we had “Goldilocks” breakfast,and we all had oatmeal,bacon and eggs for dinner! Aurelia really loved it,and she was telling us all about the three bears throughout the meal,including assigning lines and roles to each person.

We’ll try to be quick with posting Christmas morning pictures! We miss being with our family,but it relaxing to be home!!
