I just thought of one more funny thing to share about our arriving home. As soon as we came in the door, Aurelia started running around pointing at things and exclaiming “Look, Mommy! It’s our ____.” Then she would go over and pet the object or hug it like a long lost friend. One of the first things that she did this to was the trash can. Really, you missed the trash can?? The mind of a two year old is a mystery…
