Aurelia Marie

Here is a rare shot of Marcus and me.

 

And who can resist a sleeping little one! I think this was a feve-induced nap. You can tell for sure that Aurelia is sick when she curls up to take a nap without prompting.

 

Last Friday (11/6), Marcus had a fever by the time he went to bed. By Sunday evening, Aurelia and I were sick as well. It is a miserable affair when everyone is sick and there is no-one to take care of you! We called our lifegroup, and they brought us movies, food and drink for the next few days while we were miserable together. Aurelia probably felt the best out of the three of us most of the time. She was bouncing on us while we were trying to sleep and just driving us nuts by the end. She had cabin fever like nobody’s business!

Here is my miserable self trying to find an activity for Aurie – putting stickers onto some blank cards.

 

Saturday after the flu, we took her outside a couple of different times plus a trip to the store in order to let her out as much as possible. She really enjoyed it! I took her to Target around 5, and she fell asleep on the way home, missed supper, and slept all night once we put her back down around 9:00.

 

 

 

After Mommy returned home on November 5th, she and Aurie stayed home the next day to work on the apartment and run errands. Aurelia also went to work unpacking the suitcase – can’t risk it!

 

I couldn’t think of a good souvenir for her while I was away, so I guess the nametag from my meeting will do!
