Aurelia Marie

About two weeks ago,Aurelia got her first salon haircut. Nancy did a great job,and all of the ladies just swooned over her beautiful curls. I can’t blame them,they make me swoon all the time! Here is a shot of her after the cut. Her curls are tighter than ever,and her hair has a little bit of shape –very little length actually lost,though. Nancy was just dying to “fix”it a little,so she put a little rubber band above her right eye with a cute little puff.

Aurelia loved all the mirrors at the salon,and just kept looking around to see what all was going on. She also liked going up and down and round and round in the the big chair. I took a picture in the chair with my phone. Of course,I was in a hurry to pick her up and forgot to grab the camera…

 

One day last week,Aurie took my lipstick out of my purse and started smearing it all over her face. She stuck her finger in the tube to make sure to get all of it! She was so proud of putting her makeup on when I found her,which was only just a few minutes into cooking dinner…It was suddenly a little too quiet:)

 

I finally got my picture taken in a skirt that I made. Naphtali wanted to see what I did with this cool fabric. Love the skirt,even though I cut it out 2 sizes too big and had a take it in a whole bunch,resulting in it not being so perfect. Don’t look at the back of the waistband…

And,no,I’m not pregnant,again –that is all leftover from the first one –yuck! 30,here I come…Now you know why I don’t put pictures of myself on the internet.

 

This is what happens when we try and fail to get Aurelia to take a nap. She pretty much looked like this all afternoon…Now we are all tired.
