About two weeks ago, Aurelia got her first salon haircut. Nancy did a great job, and all of the ladies just swooned over her beautiful curls. I can’t blame them, they make me swoon all the time! Here is a shot of her after the cut. Her curls are tighter than ever, and her hair has a little bit of shape – very little length actually lost, though. Nancy was just dying to “fix” it a little, so she put a little rubber band above her right eye with a cute little puff.
Aurelia loved all the mirrors at the salon, and just kept looking around to see what all was going on. She also liked going up and down and round and round in the the big chair. I took a picture in the chair with my phone. Of course, I was in a hurry to pick her up and forgot to grab the camera…
One day last week, Aurie took my lipstick out of my purse and started smearing it all over her face. She stuck her finger in the tube to make sure to get all of it! She was so proud of putting her makeup on when I found her, which was only just a few minutes into cooking dinner… It was suddenly a little too quiet :)
oh my, isn't she pretty. now you just have to find a circus to go to, she is all ready. just love it. bet it was fun to remove too. mom
