Aurie-isms

Sorry for the lack of recent posts,but I can’t find the cable for the camera,and I keep forgetting to ask Marcus…This problem may get resolved this afternoon after he sees the post:).

Aurelia has started using a couple of phrases that are sooo cute. I have to stifle a laugh sometimes,because she is serious,and Mommy should not laugh AT her,right?

1) “I taste it;I like it.”This phrase came from our constant encouragement for her to just taste what is on her plate. Sometimes she will skip the new stuff and come back to it at the end (a procrastinator already,just like her momma). She will keep repeating this until we acknowledge her comment.

2) “Have fun! Be a good girl!”This is what Aurie says when we leave the house in the morning. It is basically a foreshadowing of what I tell her as I drop her off at BG every day. I thought it was hysterical that she told Daddy to be a good girl,this morning. Of course,we were already in the stairway when she said it,so he missed it!

These two are funny just because of the presentation:
3) “Thank you,Mommy”when I have no idea what I did. Once this came after I sneezed. Maybe she is getting confused. She also says “Bless you”after a cough or belch or any sort of throated eruption.

4) “I want ____,Honey”She picked this up from me,since I call her Honey when I’m trying to,ahem,sweeten the deal,about asking her to do things. It is so funny to hear it coming back at me. “Mommy,I want go swimming,Honey!”
