Aurelia was home sick with a some sort of cold/flu with a fever, runny nose and cough this past week. She and I had a lot of “quality time” at home, including many moments cuddling on the couch with her wiping her nose all over my shirt. I would not have missed it.
Another thing that we discovered this week is a good use for a small kitchen – a marble rink! Who knew it had such great fun potential. At first, I was freaked when she dumped a large tub of marbles on the floor, but then she was having so much fun… This event ended in dust-mopping under the fridge to get (almost) all of the marbles back from under it. We put down a towel across the gap the next time.
So much FUN!!
