Rub a dub dub,three toddlers in a tub. Here is Aurelia with cousins Joy and Lucas (hiding). I tried and tried to get them to all look. Kids are tough to photograph! Anyway,the had lots of fun,and we did not pose this picture –they figured this one out on their own.
Grandad and his tomatoes. You know what “they”say,“You can take the man out of the country…”The should nearly have tomatoes coming out of their ears this summer. Wish I could say the same for my poor,flooded,FL garden.
Aurelia and I flew to TN and the drove on up to IN for Uncle Benjamin’s high school graduation on May 22nd. Congratulations,again,Benjamin!! The plane trips went smoothly on the way up. Not so much on the way back. I ended up breaking out the emergency stickers before we even took off on the first flight home. She was getting hungry and tired already,and it was a full flight. In short,it was bad news with the evil glances from neighboring seats and all. So,we made it up and back safely. Here are some pictures of the stuff in-between.
We flew up early on the 20th and then drove to Columbia once we landed. The grandparents,cousins and all were very happy to see Aurelia (me too,I suppose). Grandad is busy gardening around his apartment this summer. He got permission from the owner to dig up around the edge of their unit by promising some green tomatoes! He does make some mean fried green tomatoes –yummy!
Aurelia got to spend two half-days playing with her cousins,which she just loved,especially since Grandma has amassed lots of really cool toys!
