Jackson and Aurelia attacked the cake and started sampling icing and pulling cookies off of it about 2 seconds after it hit the table. Her mouth was absolutely stuffed with cookies!! I had been telling her all day that she had to wait to eat them,and now was her chance!! We were hardly able to get a photo of her with the intact cake before they had too many cookies removed.

Already getting Nathan to read her one of her new books. Why is it that people bring gifts even when you say not to? I guess they just can’t resist giving our sweet girl presents. We are loved!!

#4 The "no gift"rule doesn't work;I suggest asking for (used/new) books or music. You get some fun stuff that doesn't crowd you out or need AAAs that way.:) Love y'all!
I can't believe she is 2! I feel like we were just at her 1st birthday. Her curls are beautiful!
