One thing that parenthood has taught me already is the power of a well-timed car trip. I left Columbia right around naptime to go visit Tabitha’s classroom on Franklin, TN. That way Aurelia got about an hour of sleep.

Unfortunately, she was still very sleepy and grumpy after we got to the school. It was so cool to get to see my sister’s classroom and school, even though she had already started taking things down for the summer. I also got to meet some of her fellow teachers and office folks who all seemed to know Aurelia already. I guess she is famous!
