We had a very busy weekend. Saturday morning, Mommy went to work at the lab for about 3 hours, then we had concert rehearsal for the Christmas concert that she was singing in on Sunday night. Then, there was Gingerbread House building to squeeze it.

Sunday afternoon, Aurelia attended a birthday party for one of her classmates. It was at a local park, and she had a ball on the see-saws, slide, and then with party stuff like cupcakes and a pinata.
Aurelia’s class had a “Sweet Shop” afternoon rather than a holiday party, since there are kids from so many different countries in her class. One of those things with a secular program – don’t offend anyone with Christmas. OK. Moving on…
The idea was really cute. They had hot chocolate, cookies, and activities. There was an “open mike” set up for the kids to sing, dance, play instruments on stage. Another station was makind “cookies.” Aurelia stayed here most of the time. Finally, there was a cash register with fake money so the kids could pretend to sell their wares. The kids did actually make most of the cookies and crafts around the room during the week.
She’s making some delicious cookies!
Playing with the guitars that were out for open mic night. The stage had already been put away.
Here are some pictures of Aurelia trying to wear Mommy’s boots after the Agronomy Dept. party on Friday night. She thought it was so cool that we both wore our boots, then she wanted to wear mine when we got home. I did not try to wear hers. :)
