Aurelia Marie

 

Mommy and Aurelia lounging in the grass while the bigger kids get their eggs. Yes, it was warm enough that day for her to be outside in shorts. Eat your heart out up there in the midwest! I here there was snow in northern IL that day!

 

Isaac Jones finally reaches his egg. He is still a little bit pre-crawling, so it was a big effort! He only got to one before he was tuckered out.

 

Aurelia enjoyed crawling around and “finding” the eggs strewn about for the babies. She would hold each one and put them to her mouth until I took it away and coached her to find the next. The babies’ eggs were filled with little puffs and crackers that they could actually eat. Sweet! (But not too sweet.)

 

The family photo. Aurelia is a day away from being 9 months old, and we are almost to our 5th anniversary. This sort of feels like a landmark…

 

Aurelia loves to ham it up for the camera. I asked Melanie to take some pictures of her in her Easter dress, and these are the shots – adorable!! The shoes were supposed to be part of the ensemble, but I tried them on over socks at the store, and they turned out to be way to big. Well, she can wear them later, and at least they made it into one set of pictures.
